Created by Quentin Bisch and launched in 2014 as one of Ex Nihilo’s founding fragrances, Fleur Narcotique is the fragrance that built the house’s reputation. Named for its compulsively wearable, addictive quality, it opens with litchi, bergamot and peach in a wave of luminous, translucent fruitiness before a heart built around Petalia — Ex Nihilo’s captive molecule used in place of standard peony extract — unfolds alongside orange blossom and jasmine into a single imaginary flower that is soft, radiant and genuinely narcotic. Musk, moss and woody notes form a clean, skin-close base that allows this extraordinary bloom to project without ever becoming sharp or synthetic. A modern classic of Parisian niche perfumery.
