Bergamot, grapefruit, ginger and marigold open with citrusy brightness before the heart arrives in a wave of extraordinary complexity — frankincense, rose absolute, helichrysum, jasmine, opoponax, walnut, coffee and honey colliding in something simultaneously sweet, smoky, resinous and floral. The base of oud, leather, oakmoss, benzoin, sandalwood, amber, tonka bean and vanilla is one of the richest dry-downs in modern perfumery. This is a fragrance that reveals itself over hours and rewards patience with layer after layer of depth.
